Hi all, am Grace a photographer, model  and business person from Kenya. I want to set up a business dealing in African stock photography. I've realized there is very little African content in the stock photo business and I would like to fill that void.

The funds I get from the investor will help set up a studio where we will be taking the photos - to cover rent and furnishing because i already have cameras and other equipment. This studio will have different sections to handle different kinds of photos – for instance a room for office photos, another room for home photos (such as the kitchen) and another room for workshop related photos.  The studio will therefore be set up in a family house.

For the capital provided, I plan to make a full refund with 40% profit within 12 - 18 months. I would like an arrangement with a grace period of at least 6 months before i start making repayments

I have already started working on my safety net to ensure that your funds will be recovered even in the rare case that am unable to meet my obligation or the repayment is late. (you can confirm with the management side)

Thanks for viewing my project, I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks too ForexwithFriends ltd for the Festive season offer.

Projects are charged a fee when funded - $10 for small projects and big projects: $50.00

    • Is there a ready market for stock photos?for instance, do large corporates there buy stock photos or do they opt to hire models for photo-shoots

      • Hi Catherine, sorry for the late reply. I’ve done a bit of research on the market. Most of the big companies do not buy stock photos but there is a ready market among freelance web developers. So my target i not the corporate world, rather its the small scale market. Once my service is fully established I can start marketing to the big boys
