The African sausage (mutura as we call it in Kenya) is a popular delicacy. It is also a favorite snack for many people on their way home or when one is waiting for his/her order to be processed at the butcher’s.  Am looking for capital to buy the jikos (ovens) used to roast the snack. I will be hiring out these ovens to different individuals on a daily basis.  The standard price of hiring one is $5 per day which translates to $150 per month. My target is to have 10 to 20 search ovens which will translate to an income of about $1500 to $3000 per month.

The good thing about this business is that once capital is injected there are no further operating costs – the person hiring the oven will cater for himself. Also, these ovens are made of tough materials that will last 10 years minimum (when used properly, they can last even 30 years). This means I can manage to pay back up to 80% of all the income I get every month to the investor.

The arrangement am looking for is one where I will pay back the capital borrowed plus 40% interest. I can do weekly or monthly payments. Also, once I payback the full amount borrowed and interest, I will pay the investor another 2% per month for a period of 6 months as a token of appreciation.

I will be using the safety net provided here are Forex with friends to secure your capital just in case

    • I thought these ovens are rented for ksh 200 per day which is equal to $20, not $50?
